Open Water Referral And Completion

Complete The Last 4 Open Water Dives To Become Certified

If you’ve already completed your academic and confine-water sessions (pool training) with your local instructor or dive center, but still need to complete the 4 open water dives to become certified, then this course is for you.

Why You Should Do The Open Water Referral Course?

The PADI Open Water Referral Course is an excellent option if you wish to learn to dive abroad. It allows you to complete the theory and pool lessons at home with your local dive center or instructor. Then, complete the required 4 open water dives here in Belize.

This course’s obvious benefit is completing your dive certification while still enjoying your vacation. Instead of spending valuable vacation time in a classroom, you will be Scuba diving at real dive sites. Your open water dives are done on our Local Barrier Reef Dives,  so there will be plenty to experience from the get-go.

Complete Your Certification in 2 Days

DAy 1

Complete Dives 1 and 2

You will meet us at the dive shop at 8:30 AM to do the necessary paperwork and get fitted for dive equipment (included in the course). With your instructor, you will set up your equipment and review what you already learned in the course, before we leave at 9:00 AM. You will do the Open Waters Dives 1 & 2  on our Local Reef Dive (real dive site) at a depth of 40ft/12m.  We typically do dive 1 in the morning, have lunch and do our surface interval on a small island, then do the second dive in the afternoon.  We return to the dive shop around 3:00 PM.

Day 2

Complete Dives 3 and 4

You will meet us at the dive shop at 8:30 AM to log dives 3 and 4. These are two boat dives at a depth of 60ft/18m and are also done on our Local Reef Dive. You will complete dive 3 in the morning, then go to a nearby island to do your surface interval and have lunch, then in the afternoon, we complete dive 4. We return to the dive shop around 3:00 PM. After completing these dives you will be PADI Open Water Certified.

If you're visiting with family and friend, they would be able to join you both days on the same boat as certified divers or snorkelers.
