Diving is done on the Inner-Reef as well as the Outer reefs, each with their own special features. The Inner-Reef is home to Faro Diving, where as the 0uter-Reef is known for its spectacular wall and canyon dives, the best in the county. Apart from its rich coral and marine life Placencia is also now becoming well known for Whale Sharks Diving where divers get a chance to have a close encounter with the biggest fish in the world.

These dives includes Wall Dives, Canyon Dives, and Faro Dives . Each day your guide determines the best site depending on the interests of the group and the weather conditions of the day.

Whale Shark Diving And Snorkeling
Apart from its rich coral and abundant marine life Placencia is also now becoming well now for the Whale Sharks that migrates through it’s waters. During the month of March, April, May, and June around the full moon visitors have a chance to encounter the largest Fish in the World.

Shark Hole
Shark Hole is a sink hole inside the main reef 38 miles from Placencia. Eons ago, the Shark Hole was above water and formed a huge domed cave.
