Begin The PADI Open Water Course Online,Then Complete The In-Water Skills In Belize
The PADI Open Water Course is the most popular scuba diving course. Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development and practicing dive skills. The PADI eLearning® Course for Open Water gives you the unique opportunity to do the knowledge development portion of the course online, at your own pace and when it’s convenient for you. Then, come to Belize and complete the remaining dive skills under the direct supervision of one of our PADI Dive Instructor.

You can get started immediately with the knowledge development portion of the course and work at your own pace using the PADI eLearning® system. This convenient, interactive study option allows you to learn anytime and anywhere you have an internet connection. Learn by watching, listening, reading and interacting with a dynamic instructional program.
Download and fill out this mandatory Medical Questionnaire, which will assess if you meet the minimum physical requirements to safely participate in this course. If you answer "YES" to any of the questions listed, the Medical Questionnaire must be completely filled and signed by a physician.
You'll also need to fill out a Certified Liability Release Form. Remember to bring your completed medical questionnaire and the certified diver liability release form to the dive shop.
In-Water Portion with Seahorse Dive Shop
Compete the in-water training in the warm waters of Belize with Seahorse Dive Shop. Once at the dive shop your instructor will give you a e-Learning Quick Review to confirm you understand the safety materials from the course. After which, you will need to complete the required skills in confined water (pool-like conditions), then repeating those silks in 4 open water dives. After completing the in-water portion of the course you will become PADI Open Water certified and be able to dive anywhere in the world.
- To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (15 years old) or Junior Open Water Diver course (minimum 10 years old).
- You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
- No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
Pricing includes in-water portion of the course (does not include PADI eLearning® fees) , all diving equipment, Lunch on Diving Days, Conservation Fees fees, 12.5% Sales Tax, and PADI Dive Instructor.
