The PADI Open Water Course is the most popular scuba diving course, introducing millions of people to a lifetime of underwater adventure. It consists of 3 basic phases:
- Knowledge Development – You will learn the basic principles of scuba diving.
- Confined Water Dives – You will learn and practice basic scuba Diving skills
- Open Water Dives – You will review your newly acquired skills and explore the reefs during these 4 dives.
The fun part of the course, apart from breathing underwater for the first time, is that all the confined water session are done in the shallow sandy bay of the Cayes. This allows new divers to interact with marine life the moment they step into the water.
The 4 open water dives are done on our Local Reef Dives under the direct supervision of your PADI Dive Instructor. Only taking a few days to complete, you should complete the course in 3 – 4 days.
